In a dark corner of a dusty old tavern, a cloaked storyteller weaves a haunting tale of mystery, terror, and things that go bump in the night... When awkward schoolmaster, Ichabod Crane, takes a position in the secluded town of Sleepy Hollow, he’s looking for comfort, love, and a nice, hot meal. What he didn’t expect to find was a community reeling from several recent disappearances and the claim that the ghoulish Headless Horseman was out to get them! But when he meets the beautiful and curious Katrina Van Tassel he finds himself in the crosshairs of the local brute, Brom Bones, as well as in the path of the Headless Horseman himself!

In this easy-to-stage adaptation of the classic tale by Washington Irving, the humor, horror, and history of the tale are well-preserved while also adding depth and richness to the characters and events, making Sleepy Hollow come alive for today’s audiences! And with four possible endings, you become the storyteller as you choose what really happened between Ichabod and the Headless Horseman.
