Getting lost is not ideal. Getting lost in the deep dark woods with witches and wolves hot on your trail is downright terrifying. When their cruel stepmother abandons them with nothing but a crust of bread, two siblings must find a path out of the woods. But as they encounter the monsters that hide in the shadows of the forest, it becomes clear that if they’re going to make it out alive, it’s going to take a lot more than a trail of crumbs to lead them back home.

With nods to other Grimm’s tales, this retelling of Hansel and Gretel reminds us that even in the darkest times, if you face your fears you’ll eventually find the light.
